About Robert Malin
Working with a knowledgeable broker you trust is invaluable in saving you time and maximizing your bottom line, as well as helping you avoid unpleasant surprises. Robert?s clients continue to hire him for exactly these reasons.
?Having access to market data is not unusual today,? he says, ?but having a tenacious advocate in your corner who knows how to use it effectively is far less common. My guiding principle has always been to represent my clients? interests above all else, and this foundational integrity continues to serve me and my clients well. I get the results they desire by drawing from deep market knowledge, strategic industry relationships and best in class technology.?
When selling luxury condos or bringing his landlords qualified tenants, Robert deploys sharp marketing to cut through a crowded space and elevate his exclusive properties above the rest. His meticulous attention to all details enhances these efforts and ensures an efficient path to a closing or an executed lease. Robert?s knowledge of the sell-side also benefits his buyers, as do his down to earth nature and inclination to listen, which help ease the challenging and often emotional experience of purchasing a family home.
A lifelong enthusiast of both classic and contemporary architecture, Robert officially entered the real estate profession in 2007, joining a boutique brokerage focused on both residential sales and commercial tenant representation. He quickly became their top producer, working with companies across all industries to locate and secure a home for their retail operations or office headquarters, in addition to leading residential sales and leasing activities.
Prior to that, for 8 years he worked for the premier strategic communications agency in financial and corporate public relations, investor relations, and crisis management. There he honed his marketing savvy, clear communication and problem solving abilities, and superior client service ? skills that benefit him greatly in real estate.
Originally from Philadelphia, Robert graduated from Stanford University in California with a BA in Psychology and moved to NYC, first residing on the Upper East Side. Since 2003, he has lived in the East Village, where he is also the exclusive broker for several rental buildings in the neighborhood. He is an active volunteer with various programs through New York Cares, an avid recreational soccer player, and an amateur foodie with professional aspirations. With his wife, he loves traveling and immersing in other cultures, scuba diving in tropical locales, or just getting lost or finding a new restaurant in their home city, the greatest place of all.
