170.22 acres - Carroll Co - Yuma Tree Farm

This 170.22-acre tree farm is located east of Yuma on Highway 114, less than 1.5 miles north of I-40. It primarily consists of loblolly pine plantations that were planted in 1982 and 1989, as well as stands of upland and bottomland hardwoods. The pine plantations were thinned in 2010 and 2016 resulting in a stand containing a significant amount of sawtimber sized trees. The stands of hardwoods are predominately yellow-poplar, but also contain white oak, red oak, and various other species. Tree sizes range from pulpwood to medium-sized sawtimber.
